Set your own pace
Buying a home is a large financial commitment. I believe that clear goals and proper planning will help to create a firm path to your real estate goals. The process starts with an appointment to discuss your goals, your expectations, and your timeline. To accomodate a wide array of schedules, I hold appointments during the day, as well as in the evenings and on weekends. Appointments can be in person or over the phone. Let me know if you'd like an appointment.
Gaining a clear understanding of the mortgage lending process, including the differences between pre-approval and pre-qualification letters, will be important before searching for a home.
Once you have the finance piece in order, it is time to start looking for a home! We will meet and work together to come up with your preferred criteria.
We will put together a research plan that involves pouring over the MLS, internet databases, and local non-listed sellers to find your home.
You’ve found the home you’ve been looking for and now it’s time to put in an offer. With your financing in mind, I will work with you to craft an offer that reflects the true market value of the home and any additional requests you may have.
Once your offer is accepted, I will work with you to address each of the contingencies laid out in the real estate contract. These typically include obtaining your mortgage commitment, a home inspection, a wood-destroying organism inspection, a survey, and verifying any seller repairs.
When all contingencies are addressed and we are ready to close, I will work with you to prepare for closing and do everything I can to ensure a smooth transaction at the closing table. I will meet you at closing to address any last minute questions that you or the closing agent may have.
